Design
Sadly, the visuals don’t match the exciting atmosphere of Dettori’s races. The background is a static and tacky looking set of the races, whilst the reels are basic 2D images. They do animate slightly after winning but that’s about it. Even when you do win, a grey box appears telling you that you’ve won. It doesn’t feel like an event or anything special.
During spins, there is a slight music track building up the reels but that’s about it. There is nothing in between spins and it feels a little empty. It’s disappointing that they have presented the slot this way and the entire aesthetic feels like a slot from the early 00s instead of 2016.
Gameplay
Now, the gameplay is as traditional as you’d expect. You can choose which lines to bet on and how much you want to bet. The main aim is to spin and win up 7,777x your stake by landing 5 of the Dettori wilds. There is a progressive jackpot linked to the Golden 7 and Silver 5 jackpot. Thankfully, the two bonus rounds are a little more engaging without adding too many complicated mechanics.

Whilst this is a must-play for horse racing fans and sports fans in general, most slot players may not enjoy it. The graphics are incredibly dated and make the slot feel older than it actually is. Traditional slot players may enjoy this, but most modern slot players will not.
