Considering that some of its competitors boast libraries containing several thousand titles, Grosvenor Casino’s may not, at first glance, seem all that impressive. However, in true Grosvenor style, quality prevails over quantity.
Slots
The majority of Grosvenor’s games are slots, with a prime selection of 750+ high-end titles from industry-leading developers.
The slots section of the site is helpfully divided up into categories, making navigation easy. If you’re looking for a particular title, you’ll have no difficulty finding it. Slots can be viewed in a complete A-Z list, searched for by name, or browsed for by category.
There’s a ‘Popular’ tab which contains 25 of the biggest slots, such as Starburst and Big Bass Bonanza. Interestingly, there’s also a ‘Top 20’ tab, which has some overlap with this, but offers a glimpse into what other players are up to.
Perhaps surprisingly for a hand-picked, quality-first selection, the ‘New’ tab was stuffed with recent releases, including various jackpot, Slingo and Megaways titles. What’s more, this page proudly states: 'At Grosvenor Casinos, you’ll find new slot games added almost every week'. I was pleasantly surprised by this attitude towards keeping the library up to date.
Frankly, I’m not too clear on the purpose of the ‘Classic Slots’ category, which seems to overlap with others too much to be really useful. But the ‘Grosvenor's Hidden Gems’ tab does exactly what it says on the tin. Players who fancy a change but feel indecisive should be able to make good use of this.
There are also specific sections for Megaways games, Drops & Wins, and games which relate to Grosvenor’s membership and loyalty schemes, such as ‘Road to Rewards’.
Right at the top of the page, there’s a dedicated tab for jackpot games, and within this are separate groups of slots such as ‘Hot Jackpots’, ‘Daily Jackpots’, ‘Jackpot King’ and more. Grosvenor’s efforts to make this jackpot section of the site separate demonstrates their commitment to catering for players who have their eyes on the biggest prizes.
Live casino
As a company which made its name in brick-and-mortar casinos, it’s no surprise that Grosvenor takes its live casino seriously. In fact, the layout of the site gives live casino games more visibility and exposure than slots, which is quite telling.
Offering dozens of “the best titles from Evolution Gaming and other leading game providers”, Grosvenor has cut no corners here. There are specific tabs for exclusives, new releases, roulette, game shows, baccarat and poker, the latter of which appears to be a bit of a Grosvenor speciality, with a dedicated poker loyalty scheme and regular tournaments.
There’s also a ‘Live & Direct’ section, which gives players streamed access to real Grosvenor tables at their Glasgow, Sheffield, Nottingham and London venues. This is a nice touch, and I can see it making live casino lovers and more nostalgic players feel right at home.
Other games
In addition to its slots and live casino games, Grosvenor Casino has no shortage of other attractions, including video roulette, blackjack, poker, baccarat and more.
The sportsbook is also comprehensive and thoughtfully arranged, so players who fancy placing a quick wager on their team won’t need to go elsewhere.
It’s fair to say that Grosvenor’s library is comprehensive. They offer a near full-service experience, catering to a wide range of needs with a game library spanning almost all of the major categories. The only thing you may be surprised not to find is bingo, and that’s likely to be because Mecca Bingo is run by the same operator.
