Slots
With over 7,400 titles in its arsenal, slots make up the lion's share of Haz Casino's overall catalogue. You'll find all of the most iconic releases here, including Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead, Gonzo's Quest, Reactoonz and Mystery Reels, well as a whole host of brand-new games that have taken in the iGaming world by storm, such as Deadmau5 and Ricky and Morty Megaways.
‘New Games’ takes prime position, with a selection of intriguing, very recently released titles. The importance of an up-to-date library cannot be overstated. Failing to bring new releases onto a platform can date a site very quickly, and Haz Casino does a great job of keeping its collection fresh.
The other homepage category is ‘Most Played Games’, which contains a good mix of well-known titles and a few more obscure ones. This may indicate that Haz Casino players appreciate trying out new things, and are open to lesser-known games. Again, this scores some serious points from my perspective.
A vertical menu to the left of the page contains several other categories. ‘Slots’ reveals the full list, which is much too long to scroll through. Fortunately, there are some excellent search and filter functions. Not only can you sort the library by different developers, but you can also reduce it to just ‘Jackpots’ or ‘Fast Games’, for example.
If I had to say that Haz has a speciality, it would be new games. In addition to the category mentioned above, the latest releases also get a dedicated page and a tab on the vertical menu.
Those looking for specific types of slots, such as jackpots, are best off heading to the main ‘Slots’ page and refining the list using filters. Alternatively, use the search bar.
The total list of jackpot titles is a bit unwieldy, so searching more specifically is advisable. For example, searching “WowPot” turned up 10 games, and a search for “Mega Moolah” produced 21.
Unfortunately, there’s not currently an option to search by Megaways titles here, which is a shame considering that Haz Casino hosts hundreds of them.
The only glaring absence is Slingo, which has some dedicated fans. Whilst this wouldn’t put me off, it does seem like a bit of an oversight.
Live casino & other games
‘Crypto Games’ and ‘Crash Games’ appear to be big business at Haz Casino. These will appeal to players interested in cryptocurrencies, and are increasingly popular. There were well over 100 offerings across these categories, suggesting that Haz Casino is aware of contemporary trends and has its finger on the collective pulse.
The live casino area is expansive, covering all bases and spanning several providers. For a slots-first casino, Haz excels here, perhaps even giving some of the more live-focused casinos a run for their money!
Sports betting fans will be pleased to know that the sportsbook is exceptional, with a clean look, sensible layout, and live updates. It covers all of the major sports and betting categories, as well as a few of the more obscure ones, from bowling to NASCAR, and lacrosse to Eurovision.
The full range of attractions spans virtually everything at Haz Casino, although I didn’t manage to get a straight answer regarding bingo. Whilst there are some video bingo games, and one customer service agent maintained that they hosted some Evolution-provided live bingo, I couldn’t find any.
So it seems that, unless you're a bingo or Slingo fan, you'll find every type of gaming opportunity you could ever want at Haz Casino!
