Jackpot Escalators
Jackpot Escalators are a mechanic used by some bingo providers. If you’re taking part in Buzz Bingo’s Jackpot Escalators promo, it’s worth knowing how Escalators work.
What it takes to trigger the jackpot depends on which game you’re playing within the promo time window. Essentially, you need to score a full house in fewer than X ball calls. As the games go on – with a new game starting every 5 minutes in this case – the number of ball calls increases.
This means that the likelihood of the jackpot being won increases with each game, unless, of course, it’s already been won in a previous game. Here’s how it works in the case of this Buzz Bingo promo:
- In the first game, at 20:00, scoring a full house in 44 ball calls or less will trigger the jackpot
- By the 20:30 game, this has risen to 50 ball calls, making a jackpot win more likely
- At 20:50, the number of ball calls has risen to 54
- Then, for the last game, at 20:55, the number jumps up to the maximum of 75, making it a guarantee that the full house prize triggers the jackpot

Deal or No Deal 75
Based on the endlessly fruitful TV show, Deal or No Deal 75 is a traditional 75-ball bingo game, played on a 5x5 ticket. Prizes are awarded for:
- One line
- Two lines
- Three lines
- Full house
These are in addition to the Escalator Jackpots, so players stand a decent chance of walking away with something!
Terms and conditions
Only games in the Deal or No Deal 75 bingo room are eligible, and only between 8pm and 9pm on Mondays.
