Betfair Bingo

Betfair Bingo, from one of the country’s top betting brands, is emerging as a leader among UK bingo sites. Powered by the Virtue Fusion platform, Betfair Bingo's offering comprises a range of 75-ball, 80-ball and 90-ball bingo, alongside a top selection of online slots, scratchcards, and jackpot games.

With plenty of big-money bingo rooms, plus heaps of slots from some of the best developers in the game, there’s an understandable excitement surrounding Betfair Bingo.

When you think of Betfair, you might not automatically think of bingo. As one of the UK’s foremost betting exchanges, you could be forgiven for thinking their bingo site is an afterthought. I was pleased to see that this couldn’t be further from the truth, with their bingo offering equally as attractive as anything you’ll find on the sports side at Betfair.

There's a remarkable attention to detail here with great design, and a clear intent to deliver a positive, fun environment for bingo gameplay. The scrolling bar of upcoming bingo games along the top of the homepage, plus their corresponding jackpots, presents an inviting selection of bingo action just waiting for you to dive in.

The creative and sometimes quirky selection of bingo rooms continues below the main header of the site, with the likes of Deal or No Deal Multiplier, The Big Wheel and House of Cards on offer for players looking to extend beyond the norm of regular 75-ball, 80-ball and 90-ball games. They’re all there too, but there’s also an impressive collection of other bingo titles that will keep you engaged.

Beyond that, their selection of Slingo games, plus a huge range of slots, made this a standout games collection compared to other bingo sites I’ve reviewed. You’d expect this from a bingo site with a reputation as big as Betfair, but it is always impressive when you come across a site that has so much great stuff to offer.

Better yet, the bonuses and promotions tend to come in with low to no wagering requirements. There’s a range of different bonuses and promos running throughout the year that lean towards the lower end in terms of any wagering requirements. When you factor this all in alongside backend stuff like deposit and withdrawal options and the highly responsive customer support team, it makes Betfair Bingo a serious contender. So far so good!

Betfair Bingo is powered by the industry-leading Virtue Fusion software – a powerhouse in the world of bingo software. Virtue Fusion is behind many of the industry’s leading bingo sites that you’ll likely have come across it a number of times at different sites. It's the trusted backend responsible for the fluidity and operation of the rooms throughout the Betfair Bingo lobby. You can bet you’re in safe hands when you sign up to play online bingo here.

In terms of software more generally, you’ve got slots from the likes of Playtech, NetEnt, Red Tiger Gaming, Blueprint Gaming, Barcrest, Cayetano, Big Time Gaming, WMS, Gamesys, IGT and SUNFOX Games, alongside many more, making up a collection of slots that could stand alone as a slots offering – even aside from the bingo rooms.

The website is equally impressive on desktop and mobile browser, with stylish apps available for players on iOS and Android devices. From a platform and software perspective, there’s very little room for complaint with Betfair Bingo.

Games

There’s no shortage of options when it comes to bingo rooms at Betfair. Powered by Playtech’s Virtue Fusion software, you can expect the full range of Virtue Fusion's standard offerings, including 75-ball, 80-ball and 90-ball rooms. There are also regular jackpot games, with action starting around the clock so you’ll always find a bingo room that’s ready when you are. On the inside, you’ll find vibrant, friendly and welcoming communities of your fellow bingo lovers, just waiting to get the fun started as you all cross your fingers.

Some quirkier bingo titles are also on offer, including Helter Skelter, Roller Coaster and Deal or No Deal Bingo 75. The highest jackpot on offer from upcoming games at the time of writing this review was a cool £45,545. In terms of bingo action, you can’t go far wrong playing at Betfair Bingo.

Aside from the bingo rooms, you’ll find a wide selection of slots on offer here too. As a Virtue Fusion bingo site, it should come as no surprise that the majority of the Playtech slots catalogue finds a home here. But I was also impressed to see contributions from other leading developers. Some big brand Virtue Fusion bingo sites only offer Playtech slots, so it’s refreshing to see a line-up that also includes games from the likes of NetEnt, Red Tiger Gaming, Blueprint Gaming, Barcrest, Cayetano, Big Time Gaming, WMS and others.

Game selection and quality is top drawer at Betfair Bingo – to the extent that this is amongst the best bingo sites I’ve seen. And that's quite some accolade considering Betfair is primarily a sports betting site. If you’re ever looking to expand your horizons and play more slots, or table games, or live casino games, there’s also a whole Betfair Casino section to sink your teeth into. And of course, plenty of sports betting on offer if the mood strikes.

Everything here from a games perspective works well and feels top of the range, just like you’d expect. With so much on offer for bingo and slots fans alike, Betfair Bingo comes highly recommended on the games front.

Promotions & Rewards

Betfair Bingo does very well on the promotions side, with a suite of regular promos, bonuses and competitions on offer. These vary and switch up throughout the year, but you can always find the latest via the Promotions button at the top left of the home screen. Clicking through takes you to a gallery of the latest promotions, including links where you can read the full T&Cs – always recommended to get a feel for how different promotions work.

Aside from the bingo welcome bonus, there are recurring bonuses on offer, like free bingo every day with the dubiously-named Betfair Bingo Ball Scratcher, as well as weekly cash giveaways and prizes. These tend to come with low or no wagering requirements too, an added bonus that makes these promos all the more attractive. As a general overview, Betfair Bingo does a good job on the promotions front, enough to rival the best of the rest in terms of what they have to offer.

Bingo BOGOF!

From Saturday to Friday, every 2 weeks, Betfair Bingo customers can enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free offer which takes place in the House of Cards room. Prizes are the same as if you were paying for your tickets.

Betfair Bingo Loyalty

There are five levels in the Betfair Bingo Loyalty scheme starting with Newbie and rising up to Diamond level. Loyalty points earned here turn into instant slot and bingo bonuses.

Deposits can be made via a range of payment methods with Visa Debit and bank transfers requiring a minimum of just £5. However, some products such as Paypal and Skrill have a £30 minimum, which is very high.

One big attraction in Betfair Bingo is the very low withdrawal minimums – from just £0.01 for withdrawals to Visa, Apple Pay, Much Better, Rapid Transfer and Instant Transfer. Even when using eWallets, including PayPal, Skrill and Neteller, the withdrawal minimums are only £1,

Withdrawal time frames are quick too, running at 1-4 hours for eWallets – speedy compared to many competitors. Bank and Visa withdrawals can also be quick where your account supports it, or at longest 2-5 working days, due to standard bank processing times.

All in, Betfair Bingo allows for easy deposits and withdrawals, so there’s no messing about when it comes to moving funds to and from your bingo account.

Licensing & Regulation

Betfair Bingo holds licences in both the UK and Malta, from the Gambling Commission (UKGC) and the Malta Gaming Authority respectively. Only the UKGC licence matters from a UK perspective, though it’s worth noting that the second licence means Betfair is dealing with two different sets of regulators to ensure their customers are given a safe, fair and honest place to play.

Help & Support

Betfair Bingo has a comprehensive FAQs section, and chances are, most of your support queries will be answered there without the need to reach out further. When it’s time to speak to someone, live chat is the best bet, with the Betfair virtual assistant on hand as the first port of call 24/7 through the live chat window. Phone support is available, or you can email the support team.
