The Ancient Egyptian theme has proven massively popular in the development of slot games, so designing an entire site around this genre makes perfect sense. I’m a fan of historical/adventure games, and themed sites are a great way to provide a more immersive experience. 

On the topic of design, the site is quite stripped-back, with a clean white-on-black text format, combined with a simple gold and black colour scheme. It may seem unremarkable at first glance, but beneath the surface, there’s a lot to like about Horus Casino.

I found the library to be pretty diverse, albeit with a specific emphasis placed on jackpot games, Megaways and bonus-buy games.

The bulk of the library may be made up of slots, but Horus hasn’t been cutting corners elsewhere. There’s no bingo lobby, but other than that, the broader casino and sports sections are pretty well appointed.

Within the ‘Casino’ tab are others which correspond to Horus’ selections of ‘Table Games’, ‘Crash Games’, ‘Fast Games’ and ‘Live Games’.

In terms of video table games, there are hundreds of options spanning roulette, blackjack, baccarat, craps and more. These are generally high-quality, and come from experienced table game developers such as Evolution.

The crash games category contains a small but respectable selection. These increasingly popular offerings employ a stock trading-like mechanism, enabling players to bet on whether or not a graph line will crash. These are intended to appeal especially to cryptocurrency players.

Fast games are like instant win games in the sense that they offer a quick result with minimal effort on the player’s part. These often feature some competitive RTP rates and can come in a variety of themes and forms.

The Live Casino is fairly well equipped too. Frankly, considering the size of the library overall, I would have expected more than the 34 titles which I found. Nevertheless, the selection is high quality, and it covers the main bases.

Whilst the minimum limits are a little disappointing, I’m happy to bank with more conventional methods, so for me personally, this isn’t a big issue. Also, payments are processed in under 24 hours, which is a very respectable time frame.
