Slots
Slots are by far the most popular type of game at any casino, and Casino Orca has an absolute mountain of choice for you to discover.
Starting off in the ‘New’ area, you can discover over 1,300 games just in this section alone. I spent a couple of minutes scrolling through, and I can already see some very popular titles, including Buffalo King Untamed Megaways, Candy Blitz Bombs, PopWins 80s Pop and the latest from the smash-hit Big Bass series from Pragmatic Play.
One thing that I always check when I review a casino is whether the ‘New’ section duplicates a lot of titles in other areas. In the case of Casino Orca, it's true that if you go to the ‘Video Slots’ tab, you get more or less the same collection of games at the top of the page, just slightly reordered. However, the ‘Video Slots’ section itself houses all 9,000+ slot titles, so it was inevitable the newest games would be included here – but I would have liked it if they’d mixed up the two selections a little.
The great thing about this site is that it works with some of the biggest game providers on the planet, including Big Time Gaming, Games Global, Evolution, Novomatic and NetEnt. But there are also lots of smaller, more independent brands bringing their games to this well-curated collection as well. Studios like Nolimit City, Iron Dog and Thunderkick all provide their own unique slots into the fray, including some of my personal favourites like Possessed and Kenneth Must Die from Nolimit City, as well as Esqueletos Explosivos 2 and Arcader from Thunderkick.
In my opinion, the best thing about Casino Orca is that it's not all new slot titles – there are some great classic slots here too. There are plenty of 3-reel fruit machines and Vegas slots to get stuck into (if you're a traditionalist like me) that sit happily alongside the latest in modern mechanics such as grid slots, Megaways and Hold&Win games.
In terms of Megaways, you'll find all the freshest new releases, including Big Bad Wolf Megaways, Madame Destiny Megaways and Break Da Bank Again Megaways. If jackpots are your thing, you can go straight to the ‘Jackpot’ section where you'll find more than 1,400 big-money games.
For those who like a music tribute, you're also spoiled for choice with the Jimi Hendrix slot joining other fan favourites such as Kiss Reels of Rock, Def Leppard Hysteria and Alice Cooper and the Tome of Madness.
As mentioned, you can use the search bar and provider filters to find what you're looking for, but one thing I noticed is that you can't pick a provider and then search for an individual game from them. Instead, the search bar resets, so you have no choice but to look at all of a provider’s games at once. But this is not exactly a bad thing, and you'll definitely end up discovering new games this way!
Live casino & table games
You can jump straight to the ‘Live Casino’ area where you'll find almost 800 different releases to play. The live section is provided by lots of different game developers, but the most notable are probably Evolution, Pragmatic Play and Ezugi. These brands dominate the live gaming arena, and you can find all of the most popular variations of blackjack, baccarat and roulette at Casino Orca.
There's also a dedicated tab for game shows, which are an incredibly popular genre at present. Just some of the game shows you can enjoy include Crazy Time, Monopoly Live, Mega Ball and Funky Time Live. I was also delighted to see Gonzo's Treasure Map Live, which is a hybrid between a slot and a game show. This shows me that Casino Orca is ahead of the curve, and I hope that more live slots will be heading to the collection soon.
Crash & instant win games
One of the latest crazes to hit casino gaming in recent years has been crash gambling games. These fast and furious games are designed to be simple, easy to play and nail-bitingly fun!
Originally created for crypto casinos, the first Crash game was based on the US stock market and used blockchain technology to record all outcomes of the game on the ledger, thus giving it the name ‘provably fair’. Crash spawned a whole host of other provably fair games, and now there are hundreds of variations to choose from.
Given how they work, crash games were limited to crypto casinos at first, but hybrid and fiat casinos have now developed similar games for you to play. At Casino Orca, there is a dedicated ‘Crash & Fast’ area where you can play popular crash games such as Plinko, Dice and Mines. There are also popular variations of these original games, including JetX, Aviator and High Flyer.
All of these releases are designed to be played quickly, with most rounds lasting under 30 seconds. If you never played crash gambling games before, Casino Orca is the perfect place to discover them.
Virtual sports and other games
What I love about this casino is that they haven't just stopped with the most popular genres like slots and live gaming. There are also plenty of other genres to discover including virtual dog and horse racing, as well as scratchcards, video table games, video bingo and even video poker.
It's great to see a site that really does cater to all tastes, and I was particularly impressed with the video poker selection that even has some thumbnails with ‘Coming Soon’ on them, showing that Casino Orca adds to its catalogue regularly in order to give its players the best experience possible.
