Some casinos may have a more focused approach when it comes to selecting games, but personally, I’m a fan of MagicRed’s method, which offers something for everyone and provides opportunities for more experienced slot players to try something new. There's even a sports betting section too!
Live Casino
The default landing page is the ‘Live Casino’ section of the site, where I found tabs relating to a range of live game categories, and a good number of options within each.
These games come from a range of developers, including Evolution, who are particularly renowned for their live games, and span categories including roulette, poker, blackjack, sic bo and baccarat. A separate tab for ‘Game Shows’ hosts 18 wheel and sport-based live games, some of which are based on existing IPs.
By providing so much choice within the Live Casino section of its site, MagicRed is sure to appeal to players with nostalgic attractions to bricks-and-mortar casinos, and who want to bring the thrill and atmosphere of a physical experience into their home. Delivering this effectively is one of MagicRed’s great strengths.
Casino & Slots
The prominence of the ‘Live Casino’ section, however, does not mean that the ‘Casino’ section of the site has been neglected! Here, I found a great range of slots, including a few familiar faces. Many players will no doubt be glad to see such consistently popular games as Starburst, Book of Dead, and Big Bass Bonanza.
Slots are arranged into several categories, including featured games, new games, drops & wins, and, interestingly, a seasonal tab. At the time of writing, in late October, this tab contained ‘Halloween Games’, so presumably there are other seasonal periods which get their own dedicated tab and selection of games. Some players will already have their favourite all-year-round evergreen games, but I think it’s a nice touch.
The ‘Casino’ section of the site is pretty much entirely occupied by slots, but there is also a tab for table games where I found many of the usual suspects in terms of video roulette, baccarat, poker and more.
Whilst there’s a notable absence of jackpot games, there’s a selection of 40+ games with a drops and wins feature, including quite a few Megaways games, if that’s your thing.
MagicRed may place emphasis on its selection of live games, but as far as I’m concerned, it has a rock-solid range of slot classics which, combined with some very appealing promos, should provide plenty of entertainment.
