Turn your sporting knowledge into winnings with Paddy Power Fantasy!
Now the football season is well and truly back underway we're sure many of you will be taking on your mates and colleagues in a fantasy football league?
Imagine if you could jump into a new league whenever you liked, with the opportunity to win millions of pounds, every single day... Well we've got some good news for you. Now you can!
What sports can you play on Paddy Power Fantasy?
Paddy Power Fantasy launched ahead of the brand new NFL season, so naturally, the main focus of the Fantasy new section is American Football.
This comes as no surprise as Flutter Entertainment, the owners of Paddy Power have already developed the very successful FanDuel platform in the United States, which works in the exact same way as Paddy Power Fantasy, with the two sites also sharing large prize pools over £1,00,000 in some cases.
However, American Football isn't all that's on offer for Paddy Power customers, you'll also be able to play Fantasy Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Major League Baseball, College Football, PGA Golf, Women's NBA.
How does Paddy Power Fantasy work?
Despite looking slightly intimidating at first, it couldn't be simpler! You pick a sport, then a game lobby that suits you, for example Paddy Power's £5K NFL Beginners Drive.
Once joined you can pick a team of players that are competing in the NFL on Sunday to build a fantasy team using a set pre-assigned budget. This is in no way different to how it would be when creating your own fantasy football side at the start of the English Premier League season.
Once you've built your team you pay an entry fee and wait for the day of the games to arrive.
Your individual players will receive points for certain actions such as conversions, yards gained, tackles and touchdowns. At the end of the fixtures the individual player with the most points will win the top prize which can range from something in the hundreds into the millions.
There are usually thousands of pounds worth of guaranteed prizes, even if you don't finish in the top ten you're likely to win more than your initial entry fee assuming you finish somewhere around the top 50% of all entries.
