The CEO of Relax Gaming looks back at 2022

2022 has been a massive year within the slot and gambling industry. This year has seen Evolution purchase even more developers with the acquisition of Nolimit City and also seen the constant delay of the upcoming white paper for the Gambling Act reform.

One of the biggest names in the industry, Relax Gaming, has also experienced a big year in terms of development. From the Dream Drop Jackpot to the launch of the eagerly anticipated Money Train 3, Relax Gaming has gone from strength to strength. CEO Simon Hammon reflects upon the year whilst giving a preview of what's in store for 2023.

A proud year for Relax

He starts off by saying that a "record year has gone by in a flash." Hammon then added: "We couldn’t be prouder of the ground we’ve covered together as we close off a phenomenal 2022 with new achievements under our belt, a few awards that recognise them, and many more learnings to put into practice in 2023."

Hammon pointed out some highlights such as the previously mentioned Dream Drop Jackpot and Money Train 3. He said: "Dream Drop Jackpots and Money Train 3 stand out for making their mark across the board, with the Dream Drop mechanic featuring in its 10th game this month and the Money Train 3 hype yet to die down."

Over 88 games released in 2022

During his recap of 2022 for Relax Gaming, he points out that the company established 72 casino deals, such as Bet365, and that Powered By and Silver Bullett added 14 new game developers.

Alongside this, the company won 14 different awards including ones from organisations such as SBC, EGR and Women in Games. Amazingly, the industry giant also released 88 games throughout 2022 with stand-out titles including Temple Tumble 2, Money Train 3 and Banana Town.

Expansion plans for the future

Another topic that Hammon mentions is Relax Rush which is a promotional suite that supports a €1m campaign. He mentions: "Relax Rush also made a splash, offering quality promo tools set to shake up the scene in the new year, along with more cutting-edge content as we continue to build on the insights and successes of 2022."

He followed this by mentioning the expansion of Relax Gaming in other locations such as Ontario, Colombia, Italy and Spain. Hammon mentions how the company is also looking to expand in the US next year and added: "Prepare for more variety, more market entries, and more differentiation as we welcome the new year with renewed focus."

As for online slots, 2023 looks to be another big year for the developer with planned games such as Wild Chapo 2, Beelionaires Dream Drop, Book of Power and Horror Hotel to name a few. It'll certainly be another exciting year for Relax Gaming, so make sure to follow No Wagering to keep updated with it all.
