The previous partnership has been extended to Europe

It's been announced that a new global partnership has been agreed upon between Paysafe and Playtech. This agreement is an extension of the already existing partnership that the two have in the US and will be available in both the UK and Europe.

Playtech is a household name known most famously for Age of the Gods and Kingdoms Rise but also for owning the Virtue Fusion bingo platform found at Mecca Bingo and Betfred Bingo. This partnership follows Playtech and Paysafe's US integration with BetParx.

What is Paysafe?

Paysafe is a multinational online payment company that offers services both under the Paysafe brand and other subsidiary brands such as Neteller, Skillar and Paysafecard.

The service offers a digital wallet that stores payment methods such as credit card information allowing customers to pay contactless.

“Delighted to be extending this into the UK," says Paysafe

Paulette Rowe, Paysafe CEO of Integrated and Ecommerce Solutions, said: “Playtech is an exciting global gaming brand committed to offering its operators a frictionless payments experience."

She added: “We’ve seen great success in the roll-out of our collaboration across multiple US state markets and are delighted to be extending this into the UK and Europe via the same, single technology integration."

"Payments play an important role,” says Playtech

Shimon Akad, Playtech COO stated: “Offering our iGaming partners market-leading technologies that deliver the most seamless and engaging experience to their customers is absolutely central to our strategy at Playtech.”

"Payments play an important role in delivering the ultimate player journey and requires an experienced team with expert knowledge, which is where Paysafe comes in as the ideal partner for us.”

He concluded: "We are extremely happy with the progress of our relationship in the US and are truly excited about what we can achieve together in the UK and Europe.”
