The classic Mega Moolah progressive jackpot slot has been won for an outstanding €6,597,136.10 (roughly over £5.6 million) by a lucky player this month. Mega Moolah started as an individual slot title in 2016 but soon grew into a progressive jackpot networked across multiple different slots.

This is the fifth win of seven figures from Microgaming's progressive jackpot this year and the hundredth in its history. The lucky player won on the classic Mega Moolah slot on Optibet and won the massive prize on 4 June 2021. Incredibly, this win comes just weeks after one lucky player won a record-breaking amount of €19.4 million on Absolootely Mad: Mega Moolah.
Microgaming's progressive jackpot has paid out more than €1.4 billion to date since its launch 15 years ago, with just over 103 million awarded across jackpots and slots in 2021.
